About two months before my wedding I reached out to my friend Andrew Jacobs of Appalachian Coaching to see if he would be willing to help me get #weddingready. I went into the coaching process thinking I’d walk away with a good workout routine and a fun-squelching diet to get me ready for my big day.
What I left with was a beautiful new idea of what exactly I was hoping to achieve. It wasn’t quantifiable in any number, size, or image. It was defined in an image of a future me- happy, healthy, content, strong, and feeding the people I love. A life full of homemade bread, and spices, and a house that looked lived-in and where people felt safe and loved. Andrew helped me learn how to live into that dream starting now and to rest from any joy-draining pursuit of what the world tells you to be, do, or eat.
So you know what I’ve been up to? Trying new recipes with spices I’ve never heard of before, baking bread, exercising, not exercising, eating pizza, eating salads, laughing, and living into the freedom that comes from loving your past, present, and future self.
All of this took place under the guidance of a genuine, caring, empowering and supportive coach.
If you’re a human with a goal, consider letting Andrew Jacobs join you on that journey. You won’t leave with a formula, recipe, or equation, you’ll leave with solutions you already posses.
